Oracle 11g solves the problem of excessive temporary tablespace
In some databases, because some operations lead to the temporary table space is too large, because of the working mechanism of the temporary table space, the temporary table space will not be released after the completion of the job.
This problem can be solved by rebuilding temporary tablespaces, but the operation is still a bit tedious.
During the operation, it is found that temporary tablespaces can be freed through resize tempfile, and if there is more than one tempfile, the entire temporary tablespace can be freed through resize tempfile 1, not just tempfile 1. It is then possible to release the storage resources occupied by the temporary tablespace by resize or deleting other temporary tablespace data files.
