H3C S5560-EI Series switch configuration stacking IRF
Today, my colleague just got two H3C S5560-EI series switches and asked me to help configure IRF. The introduction of the following order comes from my personal understanding, if there is anything wrong, please contact me for discussion: QQ:1849945779.
First switch:
... User view
System-visew (sys).. System view
Irf member 1 renumber 1.. Change the number of machine 1 to 1 (default is 1)
Irf member 1 priority 5.. The more likely it is to change the irf priority of unit 1 to 5 and choose master with higher priority.
Interface Ten-GigabitEthernrt 1-0-51. Enter the port on 1-0-51
Shutdown... Close port 51
Interface Ten-GigabitEthernrt 1-0-52. Enter the port on 1-0-52
Shutdown... Close port 52
Quit... Exit to system view
Irf-port 1/2.. Create the first virtual stack port of Unit 1
Port group interface Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/51
Port group interface Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/52. Bind 51 52 ports to the stack port
Save... Save configuration
Irf-port- configuration active... The important step is to activate IRF. Many people will ignore this command.
Second switch:
Irf member 1 renumber 2.. Change the number of machine 2 to 2 (default is 1)
Irf member 1 priority 4.. Modify the irf priority of Unit 2 to 4
Interface Ten-GigabitEthernrt 1-0-51. Enter the port on 1-0-51
Shutdown... Close port 51
Interface Ten-GigabitEthernrt 1-0-52. Enter the port on 1-0-52
Shutdown... Close port 52
Quit... Exit to system view
Quit... Exit to user view
Reboot.... Restart and change the number to 2
Irf-port 2/2.. Create the first virtual stack port of Unit 2
Port group interface Ten-GigabitEthernet2/0/51
Port group interface Ten-GigabitEthernet2/0/52. Bind 51 52 ports to the stack port
Save... Save configuration
