Oracle Open online course "SQL Optimization: you are not alone in the fight"

Optimizing SQL is a laborious technical task, constantly analyzing execution plans, adding hint, indexing, analyzing statistics, and so on. Don't worry, you're not fighting alone. Starting with 10g, Oracle launched its own SQL optimization aid: the SQL optimizer (SQL Tuning Advisor: STA)-- the DBMS_SQLTUNE package. SQLTXPLAIN (SQLT) is a SQL performance diagnosis and tuning tool provided by Oracle Server Technologies Center of Expertise-ST CoE. These artifacts are worth having.
