The solution to the computer in the workgroup cannot be found on the office network.

On the computer in the office, sometimes you can't find other computers in the workgroup (when you open the "Network" tab, you will loading,load your Explorer all the time), which can cause some difficulties when you need to access shared files on other computers. Sometimes desktop operations and maintenance staff can not find this reason.

Although you can enter\\ 192.168.x.x (the IP address of the target) to access it, sometimes you have to go to someone else's computer to see it when you don't know the other person's IP.

Here's what a colleague at the company found out after a day's work (if you can't find it on every computer, there should be something wrong with your network or workgroup settings, and the method documented by the blogger doesn't necessarily work for you).

Right-click computer, click Properties, and select change Settings in the new window.

Select change in system Properties.

Select other.

Uncheck the red box below.

Once confirmed, restart the computer. See if it works.

In fact, if you find it troublesome to find a network neighbor every time, you can try "add a network location" (right-click on "my computer"), or "add a driver mapping" (right-click in someone else's shared folder).
