Jabber creates an application dial rule

Douzi recently installed Cisco Jabber on its clients and intends to gradually replace all physical telephones. Everything is fine, except for a new problem, translation pattern has been configured on CUCM before, so you have to dial 0 for outgoing calls. But the contact information automatically imported by Jabber is a normal phone number, so I need to modify the configuration so that all outgoing calls from Jabber are automatically preceded by a 0

This can be achieved by creating a new application dial rule in CUCM.

Steps:

Configure a new application dial rule

In versions prior to CUCM 8.6, every time you modify or create a dial rule, you must install and import an administrative configuration file.

Restart the TFTP service

Restart the client software

First configure a new dial rule. The Australian number plus location is 10 digits and the prefix is 0. The configuration is as follows

Next, I need to download the corresponding management pack, which is downloaded from Cisco's website.

All you need is the following cop file

Upload the cop file to a FTP server. It is easy to create one on windows 10.

Log in to Cisco Unified OS Administrator-> Software Upgrades-> Software Installation/Upgrade of Publisher and install it all the way

After successful installation, log in

Cisco Unified Serviceability, restart the TFTP service

Repeat the above on subscriber.

You should now be able to directly check whether the corresponding xml file has been generated successfully.

Restart the Jabber software and you can call others through your address book.
