In the process of production and operation of enterprises, customer relationship management system, supply chain management system, enterprise resource planning system and so on produce a variety of data, and the model that carries the above data is the operation-oriented data model.

As the old saying goes, "Water can also overturn a boat." if the operation-oriented data is compared to "water", then the analysis-oriented data is like a "boat". If there is no "water", then the "boat" will have no foundation. it can be seen that operational data model plays an important role in big data's service.

The data carried by the operational data model is based on the operating objects, such as customers, products, channels, orders and so on. Operational data is usually stored in the database of transaction processing system. Because these data are controllable by enterprises, they become an important basis for enterprise data analysis.

In order to see the process of data from generation to integration and utilization more clearly, this section analyzes and designs the main operation-oriented data models, including product data model, customer data model, channel data model, resource data model, supplier / partner data model, human resources data model, financial data model and asset data model.
