Upgrade from Cisco ise 2.0 to 2.4
1. Prepare the ftp server and put the downloaded update files into it.
Before upgrading, it looks like this:
2. Download update files from ftp to ise host
3. Create updated repo
4. Perform application upgrade ise-upgradebundle-2.0.x-2.3.x-to-2.4.0.357.SPA.x86_64.tar.gz proceed
This article reported an error:
% Failed to create upgrade preparation directory. Try cleanup first.
Solution:
5.application upgrade proceed
There is an error: ntp problem. configure NTP
6. After configuring ntp, execute application upgrade proceed again
After about two hours, the upgrade was completed, during which ISE restarted twice.
