Restore factory settings

In privileged mode, enter this command:

Router# erase startup-config restores factory settings

Router#relod reboot the system

two。 Modify privileged password

Configuration commands:

Rommon 2 > confreg 0x2142! Ignore configuration files in NVRAM

Rommon 3 > reset! Restart the system

Continue with configuration dialog? [yes/no]: no! Manual configuration

Router > enable! Enter privileged mode

Router # copy startup-config running-config! Copy the configuration file in NVRAM to memory

Router (config) # enable password 123! Reset password

Router # write memory! Save the new configuration file

Router # reload! Restart the system

Rommon 2 > confreg 0x2102! Reload the configuration file from NVRAM

Rommon 3 > reset! Restart the system password modified successfully

3. Backup configuration fil

Configuration commands:

Router (config-if) # ip address 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0! Set the interface ip address

Router#write memory! Save running-config to startup-config

Router#copy running-config tftp save address

Address or name of remote []? 192.168.1.1 saved host ip

Destination filename [router-config]?! Hit enter to keep the default file name

4. Upgrade the operating system

Configuration commands:

Router# copy tftp flash:! copy object file saved to disk

System source Ip for Address or name of remote host []? 192.168.1.1 upgrade

Source filename []? C2600-advipservicesk9-mz.124-15.T1.bn! Input system full name

Router # reload! Restart the system
