Will the external information of the computer be lost when the computer is powered off?
Today, I would like to talk to you about whether the external memory information will be lost after the computer is powered off. Many people may not know much about it. In order to make you understand better, the editor has summarized the following contents for you. I hope you can gain something according to this article.
After the computer is powered off, the information of external memory (external memory) will not be lost. External storage refers to the storage in addition to computer memory and CPU cache, which can still hold data after power off. Common external memories are hard disk, floppy disk, CD, U disk and so on.
External memory is called external memory, also known as auxiliary memory. External memory is usually used to store programs and data that are not currently running. Programs and data stored in external memory must be called into memory before they can be run and processed. The external memory has the advantages of large capacity, low price, easy to use, and can store programs and data reliably for a long time.
In general, the information stored in the external memory will not be lost after a power outage.
External memory is usually magnetic media or optical disc, such as hard disk, floppy disk, magnetic tape, CD, etc., which can store information for a long time, and does not rely on electricity to save information, but driven by mechanical parts, the speed is much slower than CPU.
