BACKUP_PRIORITY = n
Specifies the priority at which this copy performs backups relative to other copies in the same availability group. Specifies your priority for performing backups on this replica relative to the other replicas in the same availability group. The value is an integer between 0 and 100. The value is an integer in the range of 0..100. These values have the following meanings: These values have the following meanings:
L 1 to 100 means that you can select an available copy to perform a backup. 1..100 indicates that the availability replica could be chosen for performing backups. 1 indicates the lowest priority and 100 represents the highest priority. 1 indicates the lowest priority, and 100 indicates the highest priority. If the backup priority is set to 1, an available copy of a higher priority is selected to perform the backup only if it is not currently available. If BACKUP_PRIORITY = 1, the availability replica would be chosen for performing backups only if no higher priority availability replicas are currently available.
L indicates that this available copy is not used to perform backups. 0 indicates that this availability replica is not for performing backups. For example, this is useful for remote availability replicas to which you never want to back up and fail over. This is useful, for example, for a remote availability replica to which you never want backups to fail over.
