TOMCAT set up virtual directory
The way to configure a virtual directory in Tomcat is to write a xml file that reads as follows:
Where "path=" / www "indicates the name of the configured virtual directory, and" docBase= "/ var/www"is the actual directory that the virtual directory points to. Save this file in the "tomcat/conf/Catalina/localhost" folder of the Tomcat installation directory, and the file name is jsp.xml. After saving, Tomcat automatically updates the configuration.
The naming rule for the xml file that configures the virtual directory is: the name of the virtual directory is the file name of the xml file. In this case, if the name of the virtual directory is "/ www", the name of the xml file is www.xml.
