What is the difference between EI retrieval and CA retrieval?
1, CA(Conference article) retrieval through the international conference after the paper read into the repository.
2. JA( Journal article) search was not read at a meeting, but was also included in EI and sent to journals.
3. To be precise, the difference between CA search and JA search lies in whether the article has been read out at an international conference. If it is read out by an international conference, it is CA search; if it is not read out, it is JA search.
EI mainly includes important documents in the field of engineering technology, including journals and conference documents, and also includes some scientific and technological reports, monographs, etc. EI includes three types: EI core included, non-core included (Pageone included), conference papers. In the title evaluation and the annual award of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the University, only the articles included in the EI core (EI CD version) are recognized. EI Village is a database platform that contains two databases (EI and Inspec), so first remove the check mark in front of Inspec. The following figure shows how to distinguish between JA type and CA type: if it is judged as Document type: Conference article(CA search), it is a conference paper. If it is judged as Document type: Journal article(JA search), and if ② there are subject words and classification codes, it is core inclusion; if there are no subject words and classification codes, it is non-core inclusion (Pageone inclusion).
At present, EI journals are basically JA retrieval types. The grade of title evaluation is higher than that of EI retrieval conference type. The content of EI journals is definitely much higher than that of EI retrieval conferences.
