The way of traffic hijacking at present, traffic hijacking on the Internet is basically achieved by two means:

1. Domain name hijacking: by hijacking the DNS resolution result of the domain name, the HTTP request is hijacked to a specific IP, so that the server of the client establishes a TCP connection instead of directly connecting with the target server, so that the content can be stolen or tampered with. In extreme cases, you may even falsify the pages of the target site for phishing.

2. Direct traffic modification: insert fixed content into the page on the data path, such as advertising pop-up windows, etc. In this case, although the connection between the client and the server is established directly, the data content may still be brutally destroyed.

3. The fundamental reason for the implementation of traffic hijacking is that the HTTP protocol has no way to verify the identity of the communicating party and the integrity of the data. If this problem can be solved, traffic hijacking will not occur easily.
