Introduction to CloudTest

CloudTest is a large-scale distributed performance testing tool based on cloud produced by SOASTA in the United States. Compared with the traditional performance testing tool loadrunner, it has the characteristics of high quality, high real-time performance, high flexibility, high realistic simulation, on-demand service and so on.

CloudTest architecture

The architecture is similar to loadrunner, which is mainly divided into three parts: controller, traffic generator and result analyzer. Support internal network testing internal network, external network testing internal network and other modes.

High real-time performance means that in the process of testing, the traffic generator will transmit the situation of the tested website to the result analyzer in real time, and then the result analyzer will send the analyzed result to the controller, and finally present it to the user in the form of chart.
