National University Student Information Security Competition

The Ministry of Education shall, in accordance with the Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Further Strengthening the Discipline, Professional Construction and Personnel Training of Information Security (Jiao Gao [2005] No.7) and Notice of the Ministry of Education on the Establishment of the Steering Committee for Relevant Subject Teaching in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education from 2006 to 2010 (Jiao Gao Han [2005] No.25), in order to strengthen the macro-guidance and management of the Ministry of Education on the training of information security talents in colleges and universities, and give full play to the research and guidance role of experts and scholars on the teaching reform and construction of information security majors, it is decided to establish the Information Security Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education in colleges and universities (hereinafter referred to as the Information Security Education Steering Committee).

The National University Students Information Security Competition is a public welfare science and technology activity for college students under the guidance of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and the Information Security Coordination Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, sponsored by the Information Security Education Committee. The participants are full-time school-based and junior college students, aiming at publicizing information security knowledge; cultivating college students 'innovative spirit and team cooperation consciousness; expanding college students' scientific vision and improving college students 'innovative design ability, comprehensive design ability and information security consciousness; Promote the reform of curriculum system, teaching content and method of information security specialty in colleges and universities; attract college students to actively participate in extracurricular scientific and technological activities, and create conditions for training, selecting and recommending excellent information security professionals.
