Cacti plug-in installation
As cacti itself has limited plug-ins, in the actual production environment, it is not enough to rely on these alone. Then this blog post will take us into the world of cacti plug-in installation. Please follow my path.
1. Go to the official website of cacti to download the plug-ins we need. Here we take monitor, thold, setting and syslog as examples.
[root@Cacti ~] # wget http://docs.cacti.net/_media/plugin:monitor-v1.3-1.tgz / / monitor plug-in
[root@Cacti ~] # wget http://docs.cacti.net/_media/plugin:syslog-v1.22-2.tgz / / syslog
[root@Cacti ~] # wget http://docs.cacti.net/_media/plugin:settings-v0.71-1.tgz / / setting
[root@Cacti ~] # wget http://docs.cacti.net/_media/plugin:thold-v0.5.0.tgz / / thold
two。 Extract and move the extracted folder to the... / cacti/plugins folder.
[root@Cacti] # mv plugin:monitor-v1.3-1.tgz monitor-v1.3-1.tgz
/ / the format of the file I downloaded is "plugin:monitor-v1.3-1.tgz", so rename it to "monitor-v1.3-1.tgz". If you download the format "monitor-v1.3-1.tgz", you no longer need to
Renamed.
[root@Cacti ~] # mv monitor / var/www/html/cacti/plugins / / my cacti path, move monitor to this directory
[root@Cacti ~] # cd / var/www/html/cacti/plugins/monitor / / enter the monitor directory
[root@Cacti] # mysql-ucacti-pcacti cacti
