Prevent the router from being hijacked

1. The router manages the web page login account and password. Do not use the default admin, but change it to a high-strength password with letters plus numbers.

2. Choose WPA2 encryption authentication method for WIFI password. The password length should be more than 10 digits, preferably uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters.

The combination of numbers, which will greatly increase the difficulty of cracking passwords

3. The default management IP of the router is modified to enable router MAC address filtering for the special IP; specified by the router. Only known settings are allowed.

Backup access

4. Install the security software with ARP LAN protection function in the device to prevent it from being hijacked by the network.

5. Log in to the router management backend frequently to see if any unrecognized devices are connected to the WIFI. If so, clear them in time.

6. Don't tell untrusted people your wireless password

7. Mobile devices do not "jailbreak" or ROOT, connect to wireless networks from unknown sources

8. Turn off the router WPS/QSS function.
