Getting started with cacti

What is cacti?

To put it rudely, it is a monitoring tool, which can not only monitor a single machine, but also complete the monitoring of the cluster! So if you do a performance test and want to monitor the cluster, ask the operator for an account to see it. Don't think about it by yourself. It's all ready-made.

Cacti installation

Yum install rrdtool

Yum install net-snmp net-snmp-libs net-snmp-utils

Vi / etc/snmp/snmpd.conf

Modify view systemview included .1.3.6.1.2.1.1 to view systemview included .1.3.6.1.2.1

Service snmpd start

Snmpwalk-v 1-c public localhost. 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0

Download cacti

Tar decompression

Then put it under the site directory of apache, / var/www/html

Mysqladmin-- user=root-p create cacti

Mysql-uroot-p cacti

< cacti.sql 配置include/config.php echo "*/5 * * * * root php /var/www/html/cacti/poller.php >

/ dev/null 2 > & 1 "> > / etc/crontab

Service crond restart

Http://192.168.3.2/cacti/install/

Default user name: admin password: admin

After entering, you will be forced to change your password.

Console > devices > snmp Select version2

In this way, you can monitor it. Most operators have already done this. You only need to apply for an account and know which machines to monitor the services on.
