Fixed function-fixed aggregation dimension

In Tableau, measures are presented as aggregates in the view, and the level of aggregation is controlled by the dimensions in the view, for example, there is only one dimension "AAA" in the original view. If we drag and drop one more dimension "BBB" to the color tag, then tableau will aggregate based on "AAA" and "BBB". What if we still only want to aggregate based on the "AAA" dimension? You can use the Fixed function to fix the aggregated dimensions.

{FIXED [AAA]: SUM ([Sales])}

Fixed is followed by the dimension on which the aggregation is based. You can enter multiple dimensions, and enter the aggregate measure after the colon.

Type of LOD expression

You can create three types of LOD expressions in Tableau:

You can also limit the scope of LOD expressions to tables. This expression is called a table range LOD expression.
