After using EA to draw a UML diagram, it is often necessary to copy the surface to other software. By default, the copied drawing has a border:

If you want to control this border, you can modify the settings as described in this article.

Select the [Preferences] button from the [Start] page, and bring up the following settings screen:

Select the [Diagram] category, and a [Diagram Frames] area (the part in the red box) appears on the right side of the screen. The settings in this area can be used to control whether different scene surface borders exist or not.

1.On Saved Image: border control when saving a surface as an image file

2.On Clipboard Images: border control when copying to the clipboard

3.On Printed Images: border control when printing drawing portraits
