Metasploit is included in kali, so you no longer need to install it, but you need to initialize it. Here are the startup steps:
1. Start the service
/ etc/init.d/postgresql start
/ etc/init.d/metasploit start
2. Visit https://127.0.0.1:3790 and wait for initialization. The page will prompt "be patient for a while and have a cup of coffee" to see how romantic the foreigner is.
