System environment:

Operating system: AIX 5.3.8

Oracle: Oracle 10gR2

Case study:

HACMP installation failed, the following error occurred when uninstalling hacmp:

[root@aix213 /] # smit remove

Remove Installed Software

Type or select values in entry fields.

Press Enter AFTER making all desired changes.

On the following filesets. Run installp-C to clean up

The previously failed installations before continuing.

Follow the prompts and resolve it in the following ways:

Then re-use smit remove to uninstall successfully!
