Positioning oracle alert error message in linux
Parameter explanation:
-C 3: displays the top three lines and the next three lines of ORA- error information
Find out if there is an ORA- error message in the 100 lines of-n 100.
[oracle@xiong:/oracle/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/itpuxdb/itpuxdb/trace] $tail-n 100 alert_itpuxdb.log | grep-C 3 ORA-
