According to Sina Science and Technology, WeChat Mini Programs will support and share it in moments.
Previously, there were only two functions in WeChat Mini Programs's interface: "send to friends" and "add to my Mini Program".
It is said that Mini Program backend is not shared to moments by default, developers should take the initiative to set "share to moments", but must also be set to allow "send to friends".
In other words, Wechat does not allow developers to leave only the "share to moments" function, thus forcing users to share to moments. This avoids a lot of forced sharing.
In addition, Wechat officials also said that the ability to share moments is to meet the sharing demands of pure content scenes, and misuse of marketing, inducement and other behaviors will be cracked down.
At present, the feature is still not fully open to Mini Program developers, and Wechat has not given a specific timetable.
But it is almost certain that this operation will gradually support Wechat for Android and Wechat for iOS.
