How to replace the ssd hard disk in macbook pro 2012

Macbook pro 2012 how to replace the ssd hard drive, I believe that many inexperienced people do not know what to do, so this paper summarizes the causes of the problem and solutions, through this article I hope you can solve this problem.

Buy ssd, optical drive bracket and screwdriver

Optical drive hard drive bracket: Suoli SLK55 Apple notebook optical drive hard disk carrier (9.5mm).

Ssd: SAMSUNG 840EVO Series 120g 2.5-inch SATA-3 solid State disk (MZ-7TE120BW)

They were all bought by JD.com. Amazon is cheap. Delivery is a little slower. It is not equal to JD.com to buy it. The tools for buying brackets are not easy to use. You'd better buy a set of your own, about ten yuan.

Second, remove the CD-ROM drive and install ssd (online tutorials, I also read this practice)

The red soft plastic bracket is used to fix ssd. Don't forget to plug it in.

3. Data transfer + fusion driver (ssd+hhd)

I want to use two hard drives at the same time, the system runs on ssd, and ordinary files are placed on the original hhd. If you only want to use a ssd hard drive, you can install a carbon copy cloner, copy the contents of the original system to ssd, and set ssd to boot on the disk.

Funshion driver officially starts.

1. Make a mobile hard disk and start it:

Format (erase) the mobile hard drive, create a partition of the guuid (option selection), and restore the data of the original hhd to the mobile hard drive.

2. Restart, press and hold option, and select the mobile hard drive to start. Enter the system to format ssd+hhd (with your own hard drive).
