The difference between Safety and Security
For a long time, we have been trapped by the difference between Safety and Security, both of which mean safe in Chinese, but there are still some differences between the two words in English.
Safety: in a The state of being safe state. To prevent accidents.
Security: the condition of being protected or not exposed to danger (The condition of being protected from or not exposed to danger). To prevent vandalism.
Example 1: we say that a place is safe and has two meanings. Safety: there will be no accidents in this place; Security: this place is strictly protected against malicious damage from outside.
Example 2: a road is Safe, which means that there is no threat of landslides, while saying that the road is Secure means that there are many soldiers or police on the road to protect the safety of pedestrians.
Safety First! (this means that you have to make sure no accidents can happen). Security First (this means you have to make sure no ill-intentioned action can occur.
3:Safety First, for example, means to make sure that no accidents happen. Security First means to ensure that no malicious behavior occurs.
