Database technology is the rise of the 1960s, it has gone through four stages, manual management phase, file system phase, database phase, advanced database phase.

Database has been growing from the first generation of database system-hierarchical database management system and mesh database management system to the second generation of database system-relational database management system (RDBMS) in the 1980s. Until now, the current database system technology has been developed from many aspects. We can summarize the development of the new generation of database system from three aspects: data model, new technology content and application field. This cannot be separated from countless DBA pioneers and descendants, and their efforts and persistence have created the current flourishing age.
