The road of life has been moving forward, looking back, do you still remember the way you came, do you still remember the initial intention and ambition of choosing the database industry at the beginning?

--To all DBA friends

Database technology is the rise of the 1960s, it has gone through four stages, manual management phase, file system phase, database phase, advanced database phase.

Database has been growing from the first generation of database system-hierarchical database management system and mesh database management system to the second generation of database system-relational database management system (RDBMS) in the 1980s. Until now, the current database system technology has been developed from many aspects. We can summarize the development of the new generation of database system from three aspects: data model, new technology content and application field. This cannot be separated from countless DBA pioneers and descendants, and their efforts and persistence have created the current flourishing age.

Mr. Eygle wrote about his career development experience in Oracle Performance Optimization and Selected Cases. In 2002, after a long 3 months, he completed the examination of 5 courses and obtained the OCP certificate of Oracle 8i; the first company in Beijing experienced the growth of SARS together; he insisted on publishing a personal article on technology or life on Eygle.com every day, all of which are the stories of Mr. Eygle(Gai Guoqiang) on the road of DBA. It also inspired many DBA latecomers to forge ahead and make continuous progress on this path.

I believe that many DBAs, whether they are just involved in the database, or the process of learning and growing all the way, or the success and failure of the project, are a highlight of the development process of the database. We understand that there are also a group of hot-blooded young people who love and persist in the database in the Mo Tianlun community. Therefore, we launched the Mo Tianlun essay collection order. We hope that you who love the database can write your story and share it with everyone.
