ForScreenOS4.0.1r1andhigher,youdon'tneedtoclearthelogsbeforeyoucleartheledalarm?Onlyclearingtheledalarmwillturnoffthealarmled.

Fault description:

The alarm light is red (always on) and will not be turned off after restart.

Cause analysis:

As long as a log above alarm level is generated in 1.Netscrenn, the light will be on and will not be turned off automatically.

If the version of 2.NetscrennOS is lower, there will be a red light when it is restarted.

Troubleshooting:

1. Run the following command on the command line interface to clear them:

Clearalarmtraffic [enter]

Clearalarmevent [enter]

Then you can turn off the alarm lights with the following command:

Clearledalarm [enter]

Note: 1. The status of the alarm light can only be cleared in the command line interface, which is not currently supported by web management.

two。 If you are using ScreenOS4.0.1r1 or above, you do not need to clear the alarm event log before clearing the alarm light status, you just need to clear the alarm light status

3. Upgrade the NetscrennOS version
