Trend DS9.6 deployment steps and considerations

Install vshield manager, set up the network connection, and check the vshield network settings if the browser cannot open the VM management interface.

Deploy DSM-DB.

When deploying DSM, remember to set up OCDB. It is recommended that trunks are not installed during installation.

Manually install DSA on DSM and restart DSM after installation

Reactivate DSM and enable trunking.

Deploy DSVA.

If ESXi stores filter drivers left over from previous DS deployments. You need to execute the command after ssh login:

Esxcli software vib remove-- man*-n dvfilter-dsa

Then restart ESXi.

Add DSVA information to the hosts file of DSM

The console opens DSVA, and the account password is dsva.

Sudo-s

Dsva

Vi / etc/hosts

Add information for DSM and vshield manager

Vi / etc/sysconfig/clock

Modify to Asia/Shanghai

After saving and exiting.

Execute rm-f / etc/localtime

Ln-sf / usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Shanghai / etc/localtime

Restart DSVA

Activate DSVA
