Install rlwrap-0.37.tar.gz tool-realize memory and page flip function in SQLPLUS

In the path of rpm10g32

1. Decompress

[root@oracle3 ~] # cd / u01/rpm10g32

[root@oracle3 rpm10g32] # tar-zxvf rlwrap-0.37.tar.gz

2. Installation

[root@oracle3 rpm10g32] # cd rlwrap-0.37-- installed under root, there may be a lack of packages during installation, such as read-line and readline-devel packages. You need to create a yum source supplement package with linux's iso file.

[root@oracle3 rlwrap-0.37] #. / configure

Now do:

Make (or gmake) to build rlwrap

Make check for instructions how to test it

Make install to install it

[root@oracle3 rlwrap-0.37] # make

[root@oracle3 rlwrap-0.37] # make install

3. Modify the environment variables of Oracle

[oracle@oracle3 ~] $vi .bash _ profile

Add the package contents to the command line tool in the .bash _ profile file

Alias sqlplus='rlwrap sqlplus'

Alias rman='rlwrap rman'

Alias lsnrctl='rlwrap lsnrctl'

[oracle@oracle3 ~] $source .bash _ profile-effective

4. Test
