Registry data extraction tool RegRipper

The registry is a database of the Windows operating system that stores system and application settings information. The registry information is stored in 6 Hive files in the operating system. Get these files, and you can extract registry information from them. Kali Linux provides a special tool, RegRipper. The tool consists of a graphical interface tool rigripper and a command line tool rip. Both tools are similar in function and can read registry information from a specified Hive file. Because of the large amount of information in the registry, the tool allows users to use plug-ins and plug-in configuration files (Profile) to specify the extracted content.
