Cisco iou cooperates with GNS3 to connect real network or virtual host

The simulation degree of GNS3 and IOU is very high, but there are still many problems in doing experiments.

The following are some of the problems encountered in the recent experiment, which will be constantly updated in the learning process.

When doing NTP, when one router does NTP master and the other router does NTP client to synchronize, the settings are correct, and the configuration can be passed in Cisco Packet Tracer. In IOU, a router can never be synchronized; the time zone is also set.

Devices in IOU are connected to the real network or the network where the virtual machine is located through GNS3 and cannot be connected.

You can connect router to a switch built into a GNS3 in GNS3, and then connect the switch to the cloud. The network set by the cloud selects the network you want to connect to (such as local network or virtual machine network, depending on personal needs).

As shown in the following picture: I use a route in IOU in vmbox to connect with an ordinary switch built in GNS3, and then connect to a network card in vmbox that is only connected to the host, so that other virtual systems that are set to this network card in vmbox can be connected to do experiments, as long as the route is set to the same network segment as the virtual system IP

The router enable password and vty password are set, and you cannot telnet on another host.
