Tortoise SVN series: (3) SVN under Eclipse
1. Use of Tortoise SVN and Eclipse SVN
If there is a large amount of data that needs to be updated or Eclipse SVN cannot be used, Tortoise SVN; is used in other cases, then Eclipse SVN is used.
2. Use graphical interface to create Respository
In the directory folder, right-- > TortoiseSVN-- > Create repository here
After that, select Create folder structure in the pop-up dialog box
Next, click Start Repobrowser
Right-click on the trunk directory and select Add folder...
After the project is imported, remember to delete all files in the WEB-INF/classes directory
Write to Log Message
Note: if you want to delete Repository, you need to stop the service of svn before deleting it.
3. Use SVN under MyEclipse
3.1.Open the SVN resource library
Window- > Show View- > Other... Search for "svn"
Open the SVN repository and right-click in the space-> New-> location of the repository.
Enter URL and click Finish
Checkout SVN resources into MyEclipse
In the SVN repository, with the resource selected, right-> check out as (A).
Submit and update operations in MyEclipse
Right-click on the project or on a single file-> Team- > submit / update /.
