Course introduction

This series of courses starts with the basic architecture of the cluster. It takes you to understand the difference between Shared-Nothing and Shared-Disk, the three problems faced by Shared-Disk, the composition of the Oracle cluster and how to solve the three problems in the Shared-Disk architecture. In addition, it talks about how the Oracle cluster starts itself with the system startup, the initialization resource layer of the Oracle cluster and the three heartbeat mechanisms in the cluster.
