2.2.2 two synchronous copies

This configuration enables data protection. Like other availability group configurations, it can be read and scaled. The two synchronous copy configurations do not provide automatic high availability.

Availability groups with two synchronous copies provide read scaling and data protection. The following table describes the available sexual behaviors.

Primary copy interrupt

Manual failover. May result in data loss. The new master copy is R / w.

Automatic failover. The new primary database is not available for user transactions until the previous primary copy is restored and added to the availability group as a secondary.

A secondary copy is interrupted

It is mainly RPX W, and the operation may lead to data loss.

User transactions that are not available before the primary and secondary replica is restored.
