The company needed to upgrade two HA Juniper os from 12.1 to 12.3, and because there was no business at night, all were upgraded offline.

Juniper Upgrade Steps

Preparation: USB flash drive 1 FAT32 format

Download the new version of junos-srxsme-12.3X48-D25.3-domestic.tgz file to USB flash drive

Starting upgrade:

Backup: #save filename(backup name)

Back up view: file list

Since there is no business at night, it doesn't matter. Pull out two HA lines.

SZF01: Insert USB drive, mount USB drive.

>startshell

%mount-t msdos /dev/tmp/usb /mnt

Starting upgrade:

%cli

>requestsystem software add /mnt/junos-srxsme-12.3X48-D25.3-domestic.tgz no-copy no-validatereboot

Wait for the upgrade to complete, check the version after restarting

>show version

SZF00: Insert USB drive, mount USB drive.

>startshell

%mount-t msdos /dev/tmp/usb /mnt

Starting upgrade:

%cli

>requestsystem software add /mnt/junos-srxsme-12.3X48-D25.3-domestic.tgz no-copy no-validate reboot

Wait for the upgrade to complete, check the version after restarting

>show version

Plug in two HA cables and check RG

>show chassis clusterstatus

Backup restore: #load overwrite filename
