Experience of using IRC

I saw "Mr.Robot" and "who am I? There is no absolutely secure system. "are you curious about the cool chat software used by the protagonists and want to try it?" Now let me give you a brief introduction to the use of IRC.

/ connect server name # Connect to the server

/ msg NickServ Register # sign up for account

/ msg ChanServ Register # Registration Channel

/ nick new nickname # change the name

/ join # linuxba # join the channel

/ part # leave the channel

/ query nickname | # Channel # open a small window to chat with others alone

/ msg NickServ identify password # Certification current number (risk of being squeezed out without authentication)

/ msg NickServ identify account password # authenticate another account

Note: the new account has just been registered and everyone on the channel can see your IP. You need to go to the freenode (/ join # freenode) channel to ask the staff for an ip cloak to achieve true anonymity.

I use the Firefox plug-in ChatZilla, there are other clients and web version of IRC, you can try, suitable for their own is the best.
