Threat Classification STRIDER:
STRIDE is a threat modeling tool developed by Microsoft, which classifies external threats into six categories, as follows:
S:spoofing, cheat
T:tampering, tampering
R:repudiation, deny, refuse to admit
I:information disclosure, information disclosure
D:denial of services, denial of service
E: Elevation of privieges privilege promotion
