The value of the material master data 'Purchasing Value Key' field cannot be modified in SAP MM MM17?

Remember that after the data was imported into the system before the D project was launched, the business proposed that some of the 'Purchasing value key' fields in the material purchase view needed to be modified.

This means that the field needs to be modified in batches. The author immediately thought of MM17, so he tried to use MM17 to modify it.

Only to find that there is no such field in the field list? Is it possible that SAP cannot support batch modification of this field? And then I thought, is this field not a MARC field, but a MARA field? Upon inspection, this is really the case.

Then use MM17 to change the MARA table data

You can change it.

It seemed like a small problem, and it shouldn't even be a problem, but it puzzled me for a while. Because at that time I always thought that this field was the field of the factory view (MARC table). So make a record to facilitate your own reference.
