[figure] New Chrome feature: allows users to specify pages in permanent silence
If you are a loyal Chrome user, you will no longer be able to play audio without permission while surfing the web. François Beaufort from Google revealed in a recent Google+ blog post that this feature is coming soon, indicating that the Chrome team is actively testing this feature, allowing users to permanently silence the website.
When a user opens a web page in Chrome, click on the left part of the URL in the address bar (usually called security), in the pop-up options, users can see settings about Cookies, positioning, notifications, etc., users can choose to allow/block pop-up windows, whether to allow access to microphones, etc., in which the user can choose to silence the page in the Sound option, select permanent silence, then open the page in the future will automatically remember that there will be no sound, this feature has been launched in Canary channel.
