New icons for Microsoft Windows 10 applications are launched to all users
It House reported last Friday that Microsoft has begun to introduce new color app icons in Windows 10, which was pushed to fast-track test users. Today, some users have found that some new icons are starting to be pushed to non-internal test users. New icons for email, calendar and OneNote have been updated for all users, and it is speculated that new icons for other apps will be pushed to users soon.
These icons are based on the concept of smooth design, similar to the new Office icons launched last year. If you want to see the new icon quickly, just update the Store application, open Microsoft Store, go to "downloads and updates", and then click "get updates".
Christina Koehn, head of Windows and device design at Microsoft, once revealed: "flat monochrome icons look great in the context of color dynamic tiles, but as more and more icon styles enter the ecosystem, this approach needs to develop."
