Oracle client sql Developer installation uses
Preface description:
When I installed the Oracle client tool, I downloaded several versions of the sql/developer tool, all of which had problems when connecting to the external database. I tried to solve one problem and another; took a lot of detours; specially recorded my experience, so that the later users took fewer detours, said no more words, and recorded the installation process directly.
The first way:
1. Install using the Oralce database installer
P10404530_112030_Linux-x86-64_1of7.zip
P10404530_112030_Linux-x86-64_2of7.zip
2. After decompressing, install the database instance. If you only use the development tools, you can generally only install the instance. I do not want to describe the oracle11G database installation documents, there are too many installation documents on the Internet; omit
3. After the database instance is installed, download the temporary client first and decompress it to your oracle installation directory product, instantclient_11-2, as shown below:
4. Find SQL Developer in the Windows start menu and open it without logging in. After entering, click "tools"-"preferences" to configure the oci.dll file path, as shown below:
5. Modify the tnsnames.ora file to add an external database address and port that needs to be connected, and find the file path according to your own installation path. [note: if there is a problem, don't waste your time]
6. Using this solution, start-> programs-> Oracle-> Configuration and Migration Tools (configuration and Migration tool)-> Net Manager
After startup: configure a monitor according to the steps
The second method:
1. Install JDK1.8, record the installation path, configure java environment variable-add [system variable], as shown in the following figure:
2. Download the Oracle client, [link: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1Yc6Ncuc1C-gdqRU12F3wDQ extraction code: jv8l
] decompress after download, double-click the sqldeveloper.exe file to remember; to import java for the first time, [remember the java installation path] follow the prompts to import the java installation home directory
3. As shown in the figure
4. Click the successful connection to the external database:
Congratulations, this is the end of this document.
