The official release of Opera 54 mainly adds two features

Opera Software today officially released Opera 54.0, which is now available for Windows, Mac and Linux. This version adds two main features: first, allowing users to set custom news feeds on the speed dial interface; and second, making it easier to restore browsing and settings through a new "update and restore" option.

Users can access the new Update & Restore option from Opera's main menu, and the Update button will access whether there is a new version from Opera>About Opera. The new Recovery feature offers two reset options, including "Keep your data and reset the rest of settings" and "Reset all your data and Opera settings." The former reverts to default settings without deleting anything, while the latter deletes your online history, saved passwords, bookmarks, extensions and Cookies.

Another notable new feature of Opera 54 web browser is the display of the latest news and headlines on the Speed Dial page. The new feature recommends the hottest headlines based on user location and language, and displays about 50 stories.
