Brief introduction of pfSense
pfSense is an open-source version of FreeBSD tailored for firewall and router functionality. It is installed on computers and exists as a firewall and router in networks, and is known for reliability and provides features often found only in expensive commercial firewalls. It can be configured, upgraded, and managed via the WEB page without requiring users to have any knowledge of FreeBSD at all. pfSense is typically deployed as border firewalls, routers, wireless access points, DHCP servers, DNS servers, and ××× endpoints.
