Windows 10 Build 16288 release: remove version watermark
Microsoft today released the latest version of Windows 10, Build 16288, for Fast channel users (non-Skip Ahead), which is the latest preview of the RedStone 3 branch. The most obvious change is the removal of the watermark in the lower right corner of the screen, but that doesn't mean the final RTM will lock only Build 16288.
Dona Sarkar, project leader of Windows Insider, explained: "We are already doing the final review for the final official release. So in the coming period of time, we will release more versions to Windows Insider members, and the desktop watermark may reappear."
as expected, this version update does not bring any new features, only BUG fixes and operating system background performance adjustments, but indicates that it is very close to the RTM version.
