Use SecureCRT

1. Connect the console port of the switch with the computer serial port 1 (see the device manager for details) with the control line, and connect with the SecureCRT software with xmodem function.

4. Restart the switch and press the mode key for a long time. The prompt appears: Switch: enter flash_init enter, then enter load_helper enter, and then enter copy xmodem: space flash:xxxx.bin (IOS file name) enter-- for example:

Switch:copy xmodem: flash:c3550-i5q312-mz.121-12c.EA1.bin

When the C prompt appears, click the SecureCRT menu: transfer-send File, select Xmodem or 1KXmodem protocol in the protocol options, and then select the image file (* .bin) of ios to start the transfer (about 60 minutes) as shown below:

Enter boot enter after the transmission, and the switch starts to boot and load the file automatically.
