The operation of ARP binding on a Cisco network device is as follows:
View the ARP cache:
R5#show arp

Clear the ARP table:
R5#clear arp-cache
Bind MAC address:
R5 (config) # arp 172.31.1.2 cc15.2cec.0000 arpa

View the MAC address table:
