About crossing lines and straight through lines
Empirical observation:
Cat5/5e, when used for similar equipment, the maximum straight-through line can only reach 100m full-duplex, and the cross-line can reach 1000m; when the straight-through line works for a long time, it is easy to lose packets, open circuit and so on.
Cat6, same as above; unless I bought fake Category 6 wire.
Therefore, it is best to follow the previous specifications (even if the network card will automatically flip the line order), the same kind of equipment with cross cable, heterogeneous equipment with straight line.
