New feature of macOS 10.14: Mac App Store ushered in iOS 11 style redesign

In its iOS 11 system released last year, Apple brought a newly designed App Store and a "Today" recommendation feature, which includes games and App recommended by App Store. This redesign has played a positive role in app discovery, with significant increases in downloads of many games and App. According to the latest news, Apple may plan to redesign the Mac App Store in macOS 10.14 and adopt the style of iOS 11 App Store.

Mac App Store has been ignored by Apple and the developer community since its launch in 2011, and some developers have abandoned the Mac App Store platform altogether. John Gruber of Daring Fireball said that the new iOS 11 App Store has been very successful and that Apple is likely to copy this routine in macOS.

A report last month showed that if the app successfully logged on to the Today page, the number of downloads increased by up to 800%. Of course, the problem with Mac App Store is not that the application is too difficult to find, but the lack of functionality, so it can't get the attention of users. So this re-revision, can you get the attention of users again? The following figure shows the conceptual design of Mac App Store.
