Using Metasploit to obtain centos user name and password

1. Configure centos5.5 server

1. Network card configuration

Set the network card connection mode to nat

2. Network configuration

The login username and password for Centos5.5 are root and 123456

(1) vi etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

The ip address is configured as follows:

Restart the network after the configuration is complete

Service network restsart

Use ifconfig to view the network configuration

2. Activate the SSH service

Command: service sshd start

After the configuration is complete, we can use putty to connect to the centos system on windows, and the result is as follows:

Log in using root,123456

1. Enter msf and search SSH _ login

2. Use exploit

3. Display options

4. Set relevant parameters

5. Begin to crack

You can see that the centos user and password have been obtained, and the green plus sign is displayed.
